President Peter Clarke presents ten year service badges to Geoffrey Wilson (son of founding members Arthur and Margaret Wilson). Geoffrey succeeded his father as the Conductor in the late eighties.

This item was a march, with the beat provided by the bass drummer. The guest conductor received popular support from the audience. Note: CNL Brass is still committed to 2 concerts each year. The most recent one was 10 June 2010.

Elwyn Hunt, tenor horn player (deceased 19 October 1991). The first Perpetual Trophy to be awarded was named in his memory – the Elwyn Hunt Memorial Trophy for Bandsmanship. It was presented for the first time in December 1991 by Elwyn’s wife Doris.
